Aquila Rithymna Beach

Aquila Rithymna is a 5 star hotel 10 minutes drive from Rethymnon. The hotel has a traditional chapel on it's grounds but also gives you the option of having an idyllic beach wedding. Leaving the hotel to cater for your guests and having the option of rooms on site means full focus can be on the magical day for the bride, groom and guests with almost guaranteed good weather.

St Nicholas Church

The St Nicholas Church is a firm favourite for tourists in Crete as one of the many traditional chapels on the island but with a unique picture postcard location. Located in the Georgioupolis area in Crete, roughly 40 minutes drive from Chania and around 30 minutes drive from Rethymno you'll find it around 100 metres from the shore line on an islet. This venue can provide a stunning visual for photographs and videos even if the actual ceremony can't support many guests due to it's location.

Venetian Fortress known as the Fortezza

Arguably one of the most popular wedding venues in Crete, the Venetian Fortress also known as Fortezza is a beautiful historical landmark on the island. Built by Venetians in the 16th century, there are many possible locations within the fortress to hold a ceremony. One such location is the ex-mosque of Sultan Ibrahim however if you want stunning views you can be up on the Fortress wall.
